Bartlett is a statistician, big data scientist, business analytics leader, author, co-founder of About Data Analysis and owner of Blue Sigma Analytics. He provides business analytics and data science consulting for direct clients and subcontracting for other consulting companies. Bartlett has built attrition models, promotion response models, monthly thresholds for customer complaints, drug stability, corporate risk, et al. for banks, pharmaceuticals, health insurance, etc. He worked with Infosys to build a cross-industry Business Analytics practice from 7 to 18—performing business development; managing client relationships; and leading a team of practitioners and has worked with clients on CoE (Center of Expertise) organization for analytics and on solutions for big data.
Bartlett provides services for everything from strategic consulting for business analytics to data analysis and data management; those services are reflected in his book, A Practitioner’s Guide to Business Analytics, his workshops, and presentations. His experience comes from a number of industries including: financial services, pharmaceuticals, health care, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications, et al.
He has experience leading analytics teams and has a Ph.D. & M.S. Department of Statistics, Texas A&M University; B.S. Computer Science & Statistics, Iowa State University. Bartlett holds several patents and has two industry certifications: CAP® (INFORMS) & PSTAT® (ASA).
