The primary focus of the conference is on systems engineering and operations research methods as applied to public transport scheduling. We also include computer-aided scheduling methods being developed and applied in related passenger transport systems, such as airlines and railways. The conference covers the following topics relating to passenger transport:
o Information management
o Network and route planning
o Vehicle and crew scheduling / rostering
o Vehicle monitoring and management
o Practical experience with scheduling and transport planning methods
o Other areas related to passenger transport (large-scale optimization,
etc.)
The conference is targeted to individuals from transport operators, academic institutions and consulting firms who are involved in research, development or utilization of computer-aided scheduling methods in public transport.
