New audio is available for media use featuring supply chain expert Robert Handfield on the nation’s current supply chain crisis and the actions that need to be taken to address it. This content is made available by INFORMS, the largest association for the decision and data sciences. All sound should be attributed to Robert Handfield. He is the executive director of supply chain resource cooperative, and he’s the Bank of America University Distinguished Professor of operations and supply chain management at North Carolina State University. CATONSVILLE, MD, November 3, 2021 – Online sellers and marketers are quite familiar with reputation systems that seek to understand and shape online reputations, oftentimes in the form of online reviews.

INFORMS, the largest association for the decision and data sciences, has awarded the 2021 Daniel H. Wagner Prize for Excellence in the Practice of Advanced Analytics and Operations Research to researchers from the University of Pennsylvania and University of Southern California for their work to deploy a national-scale targeted testing system to allocate limited testing resources in Greece to screen visitors for COVID-19 at the border. The award was presented today at the 2021 INFORMS Annual Meeting in Anaheim, Calif.
