CAP Prep Online
CAP Prep Online is an instructor-led online training, providing busy professionals with a flexible and affordable option to prepare for the next step in their career. The course runs for four weeks and each week students participate in three, one-hour webinars. Each webinar is recorded and available in the online classroom for review.
CAP Prep Premium Online
CAP Prep Premium Online provides participants with additional support to help them prepare for the CAP credential. Premium participants receive an electronic version of the INFORMS Analytics Body of Knowledge (ABOK), access to set “office hours” with the CAP Prep instructor, and learning boosters designed to help retain information learned in each module. While the course content for both the CAP Prep Online and the CAP Prep Premium Online courses is the same, the Premium option gives learners some extra support in pursuit of the CAP.
CAP Prep Virtual Boot Camp
INFORMS recognizes that everyone has different learning styles. Some prefer the flexibility of the four-week, instructor-led INFORMS CAP Prep Online course. Others may prefer something more condensed with a shorter time commitment. For those who would rather spend three, half days focused on preparing for the CAP, INFORMS offers an intensive, CAP Prep Boot Camp course. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, INFORMS will offer the CAP Prep Boot Camp virtually. This virtual course will be synchronous, instructor-led and will cover the same content as the CAP Prep Online course, but in a concise format.
Explore all seven domains of the analytics practice as outlined by the CAP Job Task Analysis. Apply concepts learned in each course module through a case study developed specifically for CAP Prep users. Learn from a CAP-certified instructor with over 30 years of experience in analytics and in just three half days!
In addition, CAP Boot Camp participants receive a copy of the INFORMS Analytics Body of Knowledge (ABOK). The ABOK represents the perspectives of some of the most respected experts on analytics. INFORMS ABOK documents the core concepts and skills with which an analytics professional should be familiar and establishes a dynamic resource used by practitioners to maintain and increase their understanding of analytics.
For more information on the next available bootcamp, please contact Bill Griffin.
