Congratulations to all the winners!!
To nurture student researchers in developing the skills to summarize and articulate research ideas effectively and efficiently, OR/MS Tomorrow organised the mini-poster competition again with the generous support from the Seth Bonder Foundation for another year! Over the past few months, we have received very high-quality submissions on a wide variety of topics from many universities. A myriad of interesting topics in different areas is presented, including incentive allocation for electric vehicles, cybersecurity, healthcare analytics, and many more. We would like to thank all participants for their support to our competition.
The competition was open to all students, including current INFORMS members and non-members. Candidates are required to design one letter-sized or A4 page to communicate their research topic to the broader audience in the OR/MS community. Submissions are evaluated on the novelty of the topic, maturity of content, quality of information engagement, and aesthetics.
Winners from each group will receive a cash prize. Additionally, non-INFORMS member winners will receive a free one-year INFORMS student membership. To facilitate collaborations and future development, each participant will also receive comments and feedback from the judges.
